CRUISE IN KOMODO
Cruises in the area of Komodo and Rinca Islands can be done From Bali or Lombok. It is quite expensive and it might be cheaper to take the plane to Flores and then take a boat from Labuan bajo.

You will find many diving center in this little fishermen village. During our trip, only CNDIVE could offer a safary diving cruise. In fact, making a cruise is the only way to access and visit the best diving places (photos). |
- The equipment was OK. Nevertheless, it is better to take your own suit : te water temperature is most of the time very nice (27°C), but in some places in the south, because of the current coming from the indian ocean, the temperature can be much lower (21°C).
- Don’t forget to take your diving parachute. Currents are sometimes very strong and nearly all dives are drifting dives.
- We recommand this kind of cruise to good divers
- The boat is far from being a confortable boat but that makes the cruise very special.
- Try to spend some time to have a look at the estonishing dragons living on Komodo or Rinca.
- Caution : you will not find any cash machine in Labuan Bajo, nor a bank. If you have to buy your flying back ticket, take enaugh cash before getting there because flight companies only take cash and don’t take credit cards.
